Homework a breeze with after-school program

A collaboration between Canterbury League Club and Riverwood Community Centre has seen primary school children getting more help with completing their homework.

The Homework Help program, overseen by two qualified primary school teachers, is offered twice a week on Mondays or Tuesdays in the afternoons; and is open to children residing within Riverwood and surrounding areas. The teachers are supported by volunteers who help students with their enquiries and provide them with relevant resources to complete their tasks.

It’s not long before you see past his wheelchair and meet the real Moustie: a mischievous and funny gentleman, and a mad keen Bulldogs supporter to boot.

Moustie was born with cerebral palsy, a permanent disorder that affects a person’s ability to move – but he hasn’t let that stop him. If anything, it spurs him on to greater heights because he knows he is one of the lucky ones.

Engage Rewards a win for members

Canterbury is pleased to announce the introduction of a brand new loyalty program for members called Engage Rewards.

From July 1, members will be able to earn points when they play, pay or dine in Canterbury’s Sydney clubs.

Points can be redeemed for a range of things including gift cards, meals and drinks, renew Canterbury and C-Life memberships, and also eventually pay for household utility bills like water and electricity through BPAY.
