McCallum’s Hill Public School recently held a Biggest Morning Tea to help raise funds for cancer research, prevention and support.

The event was a successful day with great food, fun games and a wonderful crowd. Canterbury Leagues Club donated a signed Bulldogs cap and tickets to watch a Bulldogs game to the school’s raffle.

“The event was attended by about 50 people and we raised $650 which is quite an achievement considering we’re only a small school!” said Maria Rallis, event organiser and a member of the school’s P&C committee.

“I overheard a couple of our guests remarking on how good the raffle prize pool was – several attendees were desperate to win the tickets to the games!”

Thank you once again to Canterbury for your generosity and support of this very worthy cause! Nearly every family has been touched by this dreadful disease and we need to find a cure fast. Every bit helps.”
